iMovie Trailer Historical Event Project
The Civil War is considered to be the bloodiest four years in American History. During that time span many battles and political events took place that would make entertaining and dramatic movies. Imagine if one of these events that took place during the Civil War were made into a feature movie. What would the movie trailers look like? Using iMovie on your iPad you will be making a movie trailer based on a specific event using one of the templates provided.
Three tasks to be accomplished in the making of your trailer:
1. Explain your Event or Introduce your Famous Person
2. Explain the cause of the Event or the Role your famous person played
3. Explain the effect the Event or Person had on the Civil War
Standards: D2.His.2.6-8.
Classify series of historical events and developments as examples of change and/or continuity. D2.Civ.2.6-8.
Explain specific roles played by citizens (such as voters, jurors, taxpayers, members of the armed forces, petitioners, protesters, and office-holders).

4. Take Picture, Record short video snippets, and find images.
5. Type in your text (Less is Better)
